There’s Something about Hotel Elizabeth Cebu!

I witnessed through my frequent Cebu trips on how the building was being constructed years ago and viola! Hotel Elizabeth Cebu is now one of the most promising luxury hotels within Cebu City.

Last month, I was given the opportunity to stay in Hotel Elizabeth Cebu for 3D and 2N with Eric. Coincidentally, they’re also celebrating their 1st anniversary and a big celebration is being planned. Am I really destined to at the right place at the same time? I think so.

Through the invitation of Ms. Nica Seranno of the Fersal Group, I now know why Hotel Elizabeth Cebu is now a favorite of businessmen and leisure travelers who are going to Cebu City.

We went to Hotel Elizabeth for the first after our Moalboal Day Trip. We were in awe upon entering the main lobby. The Chandelier is eye-catching! It actually disrupted my attention to the receptionist when we inquired for the check-in =)) The staff were very nice and accommodating and even offered to bring our things to our room as we need to rush to Larsian sa Fuente for our late dinner with friends.

We arrived at midnight and we were all tired. I’m glad upong seeing our room. Bonggang-bongga! I am just happy that I am with Yaya Eric and Sizzy Robbie that night. Isn’t in fun to share a De Luxe Room with your most-loved friends?

Robbie had to leave for Malapascua the next morning. I am a buffet breakfast monster so I woke Eric up when I saw the clock strike at 8:30AM. The comfy bed is making us lazy in a good way =P

We went back to relax by watching TV and updating our social networking accounts. Thanks for the Free Wifi!

We were given the privilege to tour around Hotel Elizabeth Cebu with Ms. Nica and Charm, one of Hotel Elizabeth’s staff. Here are some of the rooms that we saw and I just love the Penthouse Suite!! I can picture my Bridal Shower Party here! ‘Yun nga lang, wala pa akong groom. Chos!

I noticed that in every room, there is a unique photo taken from different parts of Europe. It is interesting to know that these photos were taken by the heiress of Hotel Elizabeth and other Fersal Hotels named Jean Salonga Fernando, who is also a travel blogger! You can check her travel adventures at Trip or Treats! I think she will not have a hard time managing the family business since it is in-line with her field of interest.

Another thing that I love about Hotel Elizabeth Cebu is the ambiance and the artworks found within every floor. You will see artworks that were specially done for the hotel. Oh wait – Did you know that the interior design of the hotel is done and supervised by the one and only Tessa Valdez-Prieto? Known for her Lady Gaga-ish way of expressing her creativity, I guess you now know why this luxurious hotel is quite unique.

Most of the guests of Hotel Elizabeth Cebu are businessmen, leisure travelers and big groups. They also offer big discounts for companies and for early bookings. Right now, it is one of the chosen venue for big parties, press conferences and wedding receptions.

The location is also a big plus since it is just a few steps away from Ayala Mall and Gaisano Mall. It is just a few minutes away from IT Park via taxi. Very accessible!

The First Year Anniversary celebration was well-attended by the media, bloggers, loyal guests and some of Cebu’s VIP’s. It is fun to know that some of Cebu’s high-ranking officials and known personalities know how to have fun! Will tell more on my next blog entry.

Our Hotel Elizabeth Cebu experience is truly memorable in the sense that I didn’t want to leave when it is about time to bid farewell. Aside from the amenities, cool ambiance, wide selection of breakfast and nice staff, I can say that their First Year Anniversary Party is one of the best I’ve been too! Thanks again for this wonderful experience!
