The Taal Volcano is tagged as ‘the smallest active volcano in the world’ and it is located at Talisay & San Nicolas, Batangas.
This photo was taken from the balcony from our hotel room in Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay City, Cavite last December. Who wouldn’t want to see such view in the morning while you’re sipping hot coffee before you concentrate on work-related tasks? What I love about Tagaytay is the cool weather. No doubt Manilenyos would down south during weekends. My first trip to Tagaytay City happened sometime in 2006. A family friend from the UK visited the Philippines through cooperative travel and passed by Manila on the last three days of their trip. If you want to relax a bit and escape from the stressful Manila without the need to drive too far, then Tagaytay is the best place for you.
There was a phase in my college life when I dreamt of buying a property within Tagaytay City. Now that several condominiums and shopping malls are being built within the area, I have mixed feelings about it. I am happy because it will open a lot of job opportunities for the locals, but I also feel bad since the place might lose its serene appeal with the high-rise buildings.
It’s definitely tough to see progress and development when it changes what people originally loved about a place.
sarap gumising everyday pg ganito ung view! A cup of coffee and a good book. swak!
Taal Vista Hotel really gives us a great view of Taal Volcano.
I want to go back and unwind there. 🙂
What a gorgeous view. Would love to wake up to that view.
What a gorgeous view, would love to have that balcony!
As for buying property: Do it, just rent it out when u are traveling (extra passive income–woo!) and live in it when u are in the area. It is what I wish to do once I pay off these freakin’ student loans 😉
